At the beginning of May, compliments of  donations from PicknPay and the Ackerman Foundation we installed EcoTunnels at three schools–Beretta Primary, Maranatha Creche and Mugidi Primary. EcoTunnels are easy to construct and help conserve water by providing shade, as well as protecting plants from insects through to harvest.

We planted onion, spinach and cabbage seedlings. Ground to harvest is 6 weeks so we should be seeing the results of these efforts very soon. Each school claims their harvest will be the best!
