23 Jul 2015 New Gardens Finished!

Tsakelani and Burlington Creches were two of the schools at which we drilled for water last year, and both saw some new improvements these past few weeks as major projects were finished.

Thanks to the hard work of A Spring of Hope staff  (Andrew, Exodus and Annekim), school staff, and community volunteers, Burlington Creche and Tsakelani Creche now have beautiful new gardens. The first vegetables and fruit trees have been planted using permaculture gardening techniques and the colorful garden fences add a child-friendly vibe to the school grounds and brighten up the communities.

We are proud and excited at the results and are looking forward to seeing these gardens thrive in the coming months!
